Father's Day Weekend

Here's what has been happening in our lives lately.

This week we went to an uneventful Fire Marshall conference and learned (this is a real statistic) that 55.8% of fire alarms will fail to signal when a house is engulfed in flames. We also had a lovely shish kabob party with Joy, Kevin, Josh and Jessica. And.. of course.. did homework... loads and loads.

Over the weekend, we celebrated our 5 month anniversary by going out to dinner. We had our favorite, TIRAMISU! Yesterday, we spent the day at Jared's grandparents house in celebration of Father's Day. Uncle David and Aunt Lori were there with their cute baby and I just love him. We played pool and Settlers.. my it was a lovely time.

Things have been happening fast now. We are getting plans figured out for going to Alaska, I am so excited. I miss my families and Jared does too.

This week is, of course, homework and tests, studying, cleaning, and a few fun things in between. We are selling our apartment, and must be doing a pretty good job because we've had 10 calls and even more emails in the past TWO days.

Also, Jared got a new phone... and hasn't left it's side since. You should have seen him on day one... he was like in pure heaven. Presh.

Life is just lovely.

Love- Tish & Jared
