Life So Far.

Well Jared and I are coming up on our 5 month anniversary this week and things are just as wonderful as ever.

We are both still in school, currently Business Management Majors with an emphasis on Marketing. I still may still change mine, though. We live in the cutest two bedroom apartment. We love it here, even though it gets REALLY cold sometimes. We are just happy to have each other.

This week was a tough one at the Chase house. I got really sick. Here's the story... About a week ago, I started having a serious pain in my lower left side (right by my hip). Sometimes (as the doctor said) the pain would get so intense that it would make me nauseous to the point of throwing up and sometimes passing out. At first they thought it was an ectopic pregnancy, but thankfully no. They determined it is either a hernia or an infection. It is pretty crappy. But I'm doing better. I slept for 18 hours on Friday (after nearly throwing up in my Business Mgmt class) and 16 hours on Saturday. And Jared has been taking good care of me, holding up my hair and rubbing my back when I lean over the toilet and bringing me hot packs to help with the swelling.

Other than that, the weekend has been pretty great. On Friday, I woke up at 8 pm and felt really crappy, so Jared and I just stayed home and talked and played games with each other. Saturday, (after I woke up at 4 pm) we cleaned the house. Man it feels so good to clean. Then we watched Sherlock Holmes (my first time) with a bunch of people at our house. Sunday, went to church and laid outside for a while in the sun! Then sitting here making dinner and resting more to prepare myself for the week. Also, earlier this week I let Jared paint my fingernails and toenails... so awesome. Also, Jared stepped in pumpkin pie a couple of days ago and i'm not exactly sure why, but it was the funniest thing ever.

So right now... Jared is making lemon meringue pie! Yumm.
