And A Happy New Year...

Almost a month since I've blogged. Busy busy.

Jared and I finished up at work. Jared- doing maintenance for Silver Bay and Me- Working for the Visitor Center. We both had really great jobs, REALLY great bosses, and really fun co-workers. We were very blessed that things worked out the way they did.

This Christmas was the best one yet. We got to spend this holiday season with both of our families, along with our first Christmas as a married couple. I was very glad because this Christmas season, instead of a lot of material focus, Jared and I spent a lot of time giving. I have this wierd thing... where I absolutely hate commercialized Christmas. This year we ended up just trying to spend time with our families... and it turned out really well.

We left Valdez on the 27th, and spent a few days just having fun with my family in Anchorage. It was like the mini-vacation wind-down that we needed.

Saying goodbye was really hard for both of us... because we don't really know when we will be back.

Now we are waiting for school to start on the 5th. Jared and I are taking quite a credit load and I am working part time. We are really excited to get back into school. For me particularly, excited to graduate. I have noticed now that I know pretty much where I want to be in life... I am super motivated to get through these next two years.

Last night, we shared our last moments of 2010 and the first of 2011 together. It was the best New Year's Celebration EVER! We also made some resolutions... as a couple and individually... I thought it was super romantic :) It should be a great year :)

Also.. we are really happy because our two very very good friends Josh and Jessica, got sealed this week! Wonderful wonderful thing to be bonded to your best friend for ETERNITY! :)

Upcoming events of excitement:
1- My Roommate/ Bridesmaid's Wedding on the 7th
2- Our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY on the 15th :)
3- My birthday on the 29th!

Have an amazing New Year!

Jared & Leticia
